Perhaps you could let the bird getting up stop halfway in a kind of sleepy 'who's there' look and pause there briefly, before going into the 'hey it's mum/dad!' look. Like you've got in the long version where the bird only gets half up, but instead of going back to sleep it gets fully up.
The bird on the right waking up in the long version is absolutely adorable :) I don't know if more birds were meant to wake up in this shot or not, but I think it would be a shame to loose such a lovely bit of animation in the shortened version... :)
hey gladys, cool work very very cute, BUT... the problem is as i said that it doesnt fit in the storyline.
In shot 7 minimum 1 bird has to be awake already :( cause one bird has to notice already in shot 6 his dad and should began to cheep.... hmmm oke....
STOP:D there is already so much time in the animation that we should change the story a little bit:
@karin: If you do after shot 3, shot 6 homecoming i have to change the storyboard before, so the actual storyboarddescription dont fit! ill upload a new one.
@gladys:the happy kids shot(6) is finished for the rough storyboard. It would be nice if you going for the close up shot(7)_HappyKidsCloseUp. Please read the Description in the moving storyboard, it should be very smooth animation of the face and the shoulders a bit. You dont have to animate the other birds. THX
Only as a information. I begin to prepairing the backgrounds for the detailed animation. Clean the Backgrounds i received from stan and set them in a composition.
